FoundAlerts works when people post in good faith. Follow these guidelines to keep the community useful and safe.
Do
- Post accurate details; update or close when resolved
- Use tips politely; never demand money upfront
- Prefer city/area + landmark if GPS feels unsafe
- Report abuse when you see fake or harmful posts
Do not
- Create fake lost/found or missing persons posts
- Harass, shame, or dox anyone
- Share another person's private documents without need
- Spam the same report repeatedly
Enforcement
Moderators may reject posts, close accounts, or escalate serious abuse. Repeated violations can result in a permanent ban.
