1. What FoundAlerts is
FoundAlerts is a community platform to share information about lost and found items and missing persons in Pakistan. It is not a police service, emergency line, or guaranteed recovery service.
2. Free reporting
Creating lost-item and missing-persons reports remains free. Optional paid features (if introduced later) will never block core free reporting.
3. Accounts
To publish reports you must sign in with a Gmail Google account and verify a Pakistan mobile number. You are responsible for activity under your account.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Post false, misleading, or harassing content
- Dox, stalk, or threaten anyone
- Use the platform for fraud or scams
- Upload content you do not have rights to share
- Attempt to bypass security or rate limits
5. Content license and data use
You keep ownership of your content. You grant FoundAlerts a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, display, moderate, and operate the platform. When you check the publish consent box, you also allow FoundAlerts to use anonymized / aggregated insights derived from your report for research, product improvement, and commercial licensing of datasets that exclude selling your phone/email as personal contact data.
6. Moderation
We may remove, hide, or reject content that violates these Terms or Community Guidelines, and may suspend accounts for abuse.
7. Disclaimer
Information is user-generated. FoundAlerts does not guarantee accuracy, matches, or recovery. For emergencies, contact local police / helplines immediately.
